The new atheists are daily attacking belief in a creator.
Ignoring the atheist attack on belief is a problem, not because the ummah will accept the argument, but that they need to see Muslims able to stand up confidently against the intellectual attack. This is not always evident especially as the atheists continue to attack.
Some of the congregation approached their local mosque in Ilford, Essex asking if the topic could be addressed, since they wanted the rest of the community to feel the same rush of certainty and confidence that comes from watching Islam defended well.
Around 50 stayed back to listen as the topic was covered:
